North Georgia Gems: Waterfalls, Bavarian Village, & an Alpine Coaster!

One of the best things about traveling is learning about places that you had never heard of and/or never thought to visit. For us, that was Northern Georgia! Our original “itinerary” (in quotes because our plans change almost daily) never included spending time in this part of Georgia, but from the second we learned how much natural beauty was in the Northern part of the state, we knew we had to go!

We spent one day hiking, visiting waterfalls, transporting to Germany in Helen, eating fudge, riding the Georgia Mountain Coaster, and having SO much fun! This area of the US is truly an underrated gem (we couldn’t believe we were in Georgia) and we’re so to continue to find more unexpected gems around the US this year.
